What we collect
We keep data to a minimum. Reading the site does not require an account. The contact tool builds your message inside your browser and does not send it to us. If you then email us, we receive your email address, name and message content, and nothing else.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, date and requested page, for security and reliability. We do not sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To reply to messages you send us (legitimate interests, and steps you ask us to take).
- To keep the site secure and working (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal obligations, where they apply.
How long we keep it
Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and a reasonable period after, usually no more than 24 months. Server logs are kept for a short period set by the hosting provider.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask to see, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, object to its use, and request a portable copy. Email us to make a request. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
